Banned From US 2330 (Operated By -SOA-) For No Reason

Hopefully the SOA Guys made a really bad mistake here, and hopefully they will make it up to you again, if not.. Guess a bad rep will hit them hard in the ass,

I not only take offence to the false accusation that our, "tent farm [is] full of duped items", but why would you join my thread just to post that? It's unbelievable to me. Why does anonymity breed such malice?

We're old school, good-hearted gamers with a no-tolerance policy on cheating, hacking, or exploiting.

Thanks for your post Minamo, I'll keep you in the loop if I hear anything. I'd love to just chat with a representative from their organization. If they just don't want us to play there, we will and can go elsewhere. *shrug*

Same here Minamo. But we're just going to call it a day and move on at this point with our own server. Seems it's the only way to go seeing as how we've been kicked and even banned from a handful of other servers as well. Seems people don't like those representing teams (clans?). Perhaps they've been given a bad reputation for exploiting in this mod. Either way, we'll be able to set up a server and watch it like a hawk. So that'll solve these issues completely.

Thanks again for checking for me. I'll send you our server info in case you're interested once we get it running (probably starting with an open server later today). We may end up going to a private hive if the hacking is too much of an inconvenience.

Friend pointed me to this thread. Looking in to this. I did not ban you but have seen you on the server in the past. We have been targeted by allot of hackers and when we get hit all on are banned or server is shut down till logs are looked at. At that point the non guilty parties are removed from ban list. I am sure this was a simple misunderstanding if your ban was not removed. I will remove the ban on HALO members if no infractions appeared in logs. If you are starting your own server Good Luck. We are hacked so much its really not even worth it. We actually are considering going private or just shutting it down.

Thanks for taking the time to weigh in here. Really do appreciate it. You'll find that indeed none of my {HALO} members are guilty of any hacks, cheats, exploits, etc...

But we have indeed fired up our own server and are running into the very same issues with hackers and exploiters and whatnot. So there's certainly a sobering understanding coming to light about what a threat you're faced with. I don't think it will be long before we shut down our brand new public server and go to a private hive with an application format.

Again though, your consideration and response was very welcomed. Thanks for your time.
