I am getting Arma II: Operation Arrowhead from steam, but I am going to get Arma II normal one on CD. Would it still be possible to install Day Z and have no problems at all, I would appreciate help.

PS: Dont ask me why I am getting one from steam and one on CD, I wont explain

Also, Would I run this game smoothly on decent settings:

4GB RAM,

AMD Athlon II X4 640 3Ghz,

Windows 7 64-bit,

ASUS nVidia GT430 1GB.

humm i think you can, however BI doesn't recommends it because each version install in different paths an you can have problems with missing files and stuff like that.

Either way you can play Dayz with the free steam version of the game, and a new copy of OA you'll have low res graphics tho.

Yes it can be done. There are many threads explaining how to commit the installs for the exact scenario you are talking about. Some very detailed Tutorials can be found here.
