Bombs? AC130? Military Squad? WTF happened?

Trying to figure out what happened on the weekend...

Was playing in Seattle 8 on the weekend with a few friends on TS and things went a little sideways..

My buddy said he heard a huge explosion, but didnt see it, and couldn't find anything.

I was alone looting on the north edge of the map, looting inside a building when BOOM *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* the building I was in was leveled, I was unco, and bled out shortly. I was alive long enough to see that the building had actually exploded.

Soon after... one of my friends instantly died. Along with 5 others at exactly the same time. In looting around after this I found tons of exploded buildings on the coast and in Chern.

Anyone else experience something like this? Bomber runs, the military squads I've heard about? At first I thought someone lit me up with an RPG or grenade, but the multiple deaths and many exploded buildings around the map say otherwise.

Why do people keep posting threads like this? Do you read the front page of the forums at all first?

There is a hacking pandemic. Someone on that server did something hacktastic, be it spawning a tank, an apache, or even just a box of rocket launchers and ammo. There is nothing in game that can reliably level large buildings at the moment.

A stray explosion or two, or an instant unexpected death can be easily explained (gernades/M136, and snipers respectively) but large scale destruction is just some jerkhole actively trying to ruin the game by cheating.
