First Helicopter Crash

So i was playing on a night server, because i finally got me some NVG's, and i came across my first helicopter crash site. However I couldn't tell if it was a player crashed helicopter or merely a spawned loot copter. There was no loot around the chopper, but that could infer it had simply already been looted. So are there any tell-tale ways to know if a crash is player made or server spawn?

if u get near that wreck there will spawn 8 military zombies if its the lootable one. it has a minigun on its sidedoor that is still in firing animation. windscreen glasses in front contain blood.

ahh, Ok so it was a spawned crash site, i remember the mini-gun was still 'firing' and although there were no zombies walking around i believe i heard several shots before i got there. It seems i arrived 5-7min after someone or a squad cleared it out. thanks :)
