A Tutorial server

Maybe it would be an idea to have a few tutorial servers for the new guys to learn all basic things in different languages.

At the moment we're trying to create a system for this in our own RPG mod on Left4Dead2.

It really will help the new guys who play the rpg mod on how to play this game, instead of reading it on the forums because of not all people can read english :P

For now we use a basic texture script on our server. where a player can walk towards a AI bot ingame for questions in a text format. and can cycle through it in his own language.

Hope you would like this idea.

Ps. also it would maybe stop FAQ by players on the forums.

Also maybe a idea is that people first need to finish tutorial before they can actually play on the live ranked servers?

The original arma 2 is fairly complicated, but with dayz there is little to learn, just takes some time to get good control of things, and learn the shortcuts for items and other basic knowledge.

DayZ Single Player Mod: [REDACTED]

This should allow you to figure everything out. you can play it normally or enable cheats which allow you to spawn any object, weapon, vehicle, or animal in the game. There's options to disable zombie damage, change the game time, or player model as well.

Install help is in the readme, hope this helps :)

I think the point of Dayz is that its bastard hard. Those first days of being scared and confused are the best bit. Having a tutorial server would mitigate this.
