soo1ner 8 Posted August 30, 2012 Ok so this has been working for me for my initial testings of it. what you will needdayz commanderlatest BE clientSo you should have the latest BE client (just google it and download it if you dont have it) and it must go in everyone of you battleye folders in your arma folders. You need both BE client and the BE server. Once you have downloaded it you will have to copy and paste it to these locations:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\BattlEyeC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\BattlEyeC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEyeIf you do it right the size of the files should be 108 kb and 140 kb respectivelyIMPORTANT!!!!!! IF YOUR COMPUTER DOES WHAT MINE DID YOU MAY NEED TO RIGHT CLICK BOTH BE FILES, SELECT PROPERTYS, AND UNBLOCK THE PROGRAMS. THIS IS DUE TO YOUR SECURITY BLOCKING THEM SENSE THEY ARE NOT COMMENLY DOWNLOADED.Once you have done this you now need to launch up dayz commander. When you open it in the top right corner you will see settings. When you get into the settings you need to check both boxes under steam, launch with steam and the one below it.The bottom box can remain forever checked. Heres the fix. When you need to alternate checking and unchecking the launch with steam box every time you join the server. This should fix your problem (again not fool proof tested but its been working for me).Reply if you have any questions

chaveezy 19 Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) There is another place you should replace the BEClient.DLL/BEServer.DLL directly from the BattlEye website (in addition to the one posted above, THEY MUST MATCH), it is;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEyeC:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEyeIt was in a very early post on troubleshooting BE but since has been lost in the nonsense that is DayZ. Try it and let me know if it works for you. Edited September 19, 2012 by chaveezy

matthew.hayes.somerville@gmail.com 9 Posted September 19, 2012 I also don't get it, so we check Launch with Steam, then uncheck it when we join a server?

chaveezy 19 Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) Why are you guys launching with steam? In my experience, that has only created problems. I would launch manually using the BAT file or using DayZCommander (just don't update with this). My BEServer.dll file is 136kb with a modified date of 17SEP12, BEClient.dll is 108kb with a modified date of 17SEP12.My post on anothers forum thread is located here;http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/74354-you-have-been-kicked-battleye-client-not-responding/page__st__20#entry872539 Edited September 19, 2012 by chaveezy
