About dissapering tents and items

Recommended Posts

So, the other day I set up a tent north-west of devil's castle. I was planing on raiding NW airfield so I dumped some medical supplies, food and a AK-74 in the tent so i would have plenty of bag space for loot, saved and headed south west. It was a nice and easy raid, getting out of there with a m14 aim and two M4A1 CCO SD. When getting back to my new founded camp i noticed that all my items stored in the tent was gone (yes, i saved the items - multiple times and sure, someone could possibly have found the tent and looted it, but it seems unlikely - the stuff in there wasn't that nice that someone would loot it all). After that i logged off going to bed (not leaving any items in the tent, afraid of losing more loot). Logging in on the same server today and can't even find my empty tent. Now i'm thinking of setting up a new tent on a different location (you don't want to run around with two rifles in your backpack). But i am afraid that i will lose my items doing so due to this bug.

Do you have similar experiences?

Is it even worth setting up a tent after update 1.7.2.5?

My advice is to find a fresh tent, set it up, put the stuff in it and than save it. Because it seems that in the latest update tents only save once. So make it count.

And if you want to add more stuff, take the stuff out, take it down and replace it then put all the stuff back in and save it.

It's hassle but losing all of your stuff like I have is a real bummer...

Good luck - Tom
