You scared the crap out of me, my own fault, yeah, I wasn't paying attention as I approached that farm West of Zelenogorsk, and when I peeked around the corner, and saw your Ural parked there, I panicked, then I saw one of you inside the barn, you clearly didn't see me, but in my panic I bolted back for the tree line, when I got there, I thought to myself, "They don't know I'm here, and they have a Ural, and their fixing the pickup..." and I swapped my MP5A5 out for the FN-FAL AN/PVS-4, as I approached the barn, I was muttering to myself about how annoying having a night vision scope at 10:00 is, I got back in time to see one of you take the Ural, and the other take the pickup and drive off.

I thought that was it, so I set about looting the barn, then I looked out a window, and saw that you had barely travelled 200 metres, and were sitting right on the edge of the tree line looking down at the farm, I couldn't see your friend, and my heart started racing, I cranked my brightness and gamma down to zero, sighted you with my binoculars, waited for my night vision to adjust enough, and took the shot.

Bang, I hit the wall of the stables I was in, too close to the window.

Bang, shot too low

Bang, shot too high

Bang, nailed you, Theratched has died.

Of course what I didn't count on was 40 something zeds pouring through every door of the stables and killing me through attrition, I just couldn't kill enough of them fast enough to make an opening.

So win for killing someone with the night vision scope in the middle of the day, but a fail for actually dying to zeds.

P.S. Also, my hat is off to you for not Alt-F4ing, you had plenty of opportunities to, as I know for sure you could hear me firing at you, and I am a crap shot even when I'm using a real scope.
