That was a dick move man seriously, I don't like snipers either but it is legit but what I hate worse is players claimiing to be friendly and then kill you when your back is turned and that is why people kill on sight because there are to many people like you that do that so it is hard to find honestly good players to play the game with.

I don't really get why people hate snipers that much... I mean, it does take patience and intelligence to be a half decent sniper that won't get his ass shot from behind with a revolver or an axe to the back of his head. I get that most people like running and gunning and that it is a pain to be killed by someone hiding behind a bush some 600 meters away while you go about your business. But what you don't see is that the guy that shot you probably spent a good 20-30 minutes scoping and checking the area you just carelessly walked into. I am a sniper myself, but I have also been on the other end of the rifle, that said I have only been bested by a sniper once, and that was just me being careless and climbing on a deerstand without scanning the horizon first. The way I see it, it's not the sniper that gets you killed, it's your carelessness that does.

I don't have a problem with being killed by snipers, I understand they are part of the game... its just irritating when you encounter a good sniper and die before you even know you are being watched. Some people Snipe, some people don't.

Saying I shouldnt play the game because I dont like snipers is absolutely retarded... don't like people that run 'n gun? don't like people that live in the woods? don't like script kiddies? don't play.

If someone opposes your specific play style and chooses to kill people associated with that play style, that does not make them in the wrong.

The label "sniper" sounds ominous...but actually not all snipers are created equal. In fact, most of them are not very good. There are a lot of uber guys out there...I hope they have some sort of criteria for shooting people, other than just to ruin someone's game. Anyone with sniper gear probably doesn't need to loot corpses...so...why bother?

Look at my channel, I have 5 subscribers lol, 4 of which are friends pre-DayZ, and the latest one is some guy that doesnt play DayZ and stumbled upon my videos.

I have been a youtube user for years and years and never really got into uploading vids except when I played W.A.R. for a couple months I made a few videos that have long since been deleted.

I make DayZ videos to show my friends that are interested in the game and to put online to make people laugh or educate them on aspects of the game.

I enable the monetize feature because... well why not? I don't expect to make any money on my vids as DayZ isn't a topic that will exactly go "viral".

so who cares why I play DayZ and why I record it? worry more about why you play the game and you will have a much better experience, trust me. I absolutely love playing DayZ and I love making videos. When I get something that I think is good recorded I log shortly after, edit the vid and upload it then post it here... It's how I like to play the game, do you have a problem with how I play my game in my own house on my own computer? should I adjust my play style or stop recording because you question it?

Because you are the one with your panties in a twist lol, I could really care less if you like my video or not, I understand not everyone is going to like everything I upload, that goes without saying. I went on my mini rant because I wasn't "Justifying" being a douche bag for you tube, I was just stating a fact that if I uploaded a 15 minute long clip of me talking to another guy in game about encounters we have had and frame rates/graphics glitches it would be an absurdly BORING video... seriously, we chatted for about 10-15min about pointless bullshit...

Would you rather watch a video with a bunch of pointless dialogue and nothing going on except for me randomly zooming and scanning the far side of the air field? or would you rather watch a video where I accidentally shoot a guy, fast forward through the boring chit chat then shoot him in the face (for those of you that think I shot him in the back look again and he turns to me right before I unload on him).

But, if they're coming at it from a "let's make a video everyone will like" mindset rather than a "I love makeup, let's share my passion" mindset, the videos will be less good.

I see what you're saying with the OMFG... Fail... video. That video was just a clip taken from me running around recording stuff and the whole time I was talking (practicing talking to the viewer live while recording) and previous to that I had heard a bunch of gunshots in the distance but I wanted to get to the store, so I was reluctantly confirming that I was about to make a mistake, lol.

I'm not saying you're style is wrong or bad, it's just not the type of game play video I enjoy watching.
