Day Z Problems

Recommended Posts

I have an 8gb 3.1 ghz 8 core processor with a terrabyte of memory and 1gb designated graphics, and I get 28 fps on benchmark 1 with minimum settings and max video memory. Is there anything I can do to improve the graphics or the speed? My computer is using about 3/8 gb of ram when arma is running, so I need to somehow designate more ram to the game.

Try going into Task Manager, finding OA in processes, right click it, and change it's priority. Don't make the priority too high though! Or you might lag even worse. Also google GameBooster and check that out, it might help a bit too.

Are you running 8 cores via hyperthreading? My understanding this kills framerate for Arma II.

If so, add this line to your shortcut's command line.

-cpuCount=4 -exThreads=0

If you're using six launcher, it's under the options tab under all the tweets/facebooks stupidness. Dunno for DayZ commander.
