DayZ integrated in A2OA v 1.61?

Hi guys,

I just found this article in the net:

So, I dont see anything on this here in the official forums. Can someone confirm this? Or is it plainly misinterpretation of "we are committed to do some related work in the next Arma 2 update (1.61)" ?

So, what has changed (since right now we use 1.62 beta).

Well, I can't tell you excactly, but since then a lot has changed in ArmA2 itself, including; weapon balance (damage wise), improved netcode (adopted from DayZ mod), improved light effects (adopted from DayZ mod), etc, etc.

They did a beta patch to help out with day z, and their core game.

They also decided to produce a Standalone title for dayz!

Yeah i messed up with the date - still, the download is needed or can you just join in the normal gamebrowser? I used playwithsix, does a manual install still exist?
