NPC Factions/Mobs -- Claimable Areas

Why not have NPC factions mobs trolling about in the north taking over cities or raiding, perhaps factions vying for control... While this game is its own brilliant entity, the game play from (for example) Stalker: Clear Sky always had you checking twice and added another great dynamic to the game. Those boring lonely walks in the woods... perhaps you happen upon a bandit fireplace and take them out - and steal their small supply of cooked meats and low/mid tech weapons/ammo. Perhaps the bandits, upon killing a player will take gear that 'they would consider better.'

And if you want to get crazy with the stand alone - how about a frontier where the players can either BUILD or TAKE over cities --- How fun would that be? Certainly you can do stuff like this - but how about taking over the town eliminates the spawns for a short time, if not entirely until it is retaken - bandit and zombie parties could raid after x amount of time.. Perhaps even start to rebuild and repopulate the town? Now how crazy would that be? To kind of put it into perspective, im looking at the way Dark Age of Camelot handled their Pvp... With claimable castles 'n such - im interested in seeing the next time further, however.

But Mr.Fluffles there are a couple of threads that say the same thing as you. Its a good idea. It would make the world more dynamic instead of just zombies and snipers.

This is DayZ people continue to forget why this game is brilliant, over complicated and adding silly things is...silly. Leave that to War Z
