Buy it through steam :).

Ive seen several threads where people who bought retail got the cdkey stolen through registry.

but steam games are linked to one steam account.

also the mod's + game is great.

Only just earlier today for me did I have a friend ask me what was going wrong with his Day Z, he said bought the keys from an online key store (cdkeysdirect) and upon running ARMA he was subsequently disconnected from the server with an accompanying message 'CD Key is disabled; please contact support" or something similar to that.

I guess that's what happens when you try to cheat out of a few dollars on a game that is clearly for sale now for how much? $30 USD??

To me seems like it's extra well spent money in receiving peace of mind in your online experience.

On hack sites, you can buy 9 CD keys for $20. Don't be surprised when your character suddenly isn't your own.
