Vehicle and tent questions???

Last night me and my friend found an off-road pickup and a Ural. We fixed them up to drive-able condition and were having a great time with them. When we were going to sign off for the night we found a good spot to put them on the edge of the map, but I am pretty sure it wasn't outside the map. The pickup is small and easy to hide and I even found a great place for the Ural and it was very well hidden. So we saved the vehicles and left. Checked this morning and they were both gone. Luckily there was nothing of high value in them, mostly food and supplies. So these are my questions.

Do vehicles survive server restarts?

When you save a vehicle does the gear inside survive the server restarts?

Does vehicle condition matter when you save it?

How long does the vehicle stay where you saved it?

Do tents survive? and how long do they last? does the gear survive?

If you park a vehicle outside the map does it disappear?

If someone found my vehicles I would actually be "O.K." with that rather then if I lost them due to some bullshit server bug. I highly doubt someone found them though.

I will number you questions for ease.

1. Usually not.

2. The couple of times a vehicle survived a restart (out of 9 vehicles only 3 have survived) the gear never survived.

3. Do not think so.

4. Until server restart, if working properly for quite some time if alive and I think death it will wipe after restart if not saved.

5. Tents are very have big issues, but if you put a fresh tent down and put gear in the tent and save it only once it will probably survive a restart. In fact it will do something else weird but I will refrain from saying what because why make another duper.

6. It is supposed to, but considering they all disappear I have no clue.

Finally, it was most likely a server bug, but you never know.

The answer to all your questions is no. Thus all the people in general chat are quitting because after a while the game has no point

Thanks for the answers, I guess vehicles are really not worth it then because you spend all this time looking for parts and then next time you sign in the vehicles are just gone. Hopefully this will be better when the actual game comes out.

My group put a tent down next to the vehicle spawn (of course in the tree line) and put all parts in the tent and saved it only once. When the server restarts all the parts should still be there as long as you only saved the tent once and you can then fix the car, this should continue on every server restart. Might as well use a bug to fix a bug and I have given up caring about playing 100% legit since the game is broken on this patch.

Oh man, I really hope you are right. I am trying since yesterday to get that tent working. Yesterday I saved twice, waited for the restart and it worked. Then I went to a "safe" location, pitched the tent, put some meat in it, saved twice and it didn't work.

I am going to try the save once option. Can I log off right after saving or do I have to wait for 5 minutes? I have read somewhere you have to wait 5 minutes.

Found a new Ural last night. fixed it up. found a place to put it, saved it once and came on the next morning and it was gone.... again.... I really hope they fix that soon
