FR 39 - Got bannedon the server for finding an illegal weapon.

Hi.

I was with a friend on FR 39 last night (approximately 1:00 am GMT +2, and 6:00 pm in game), in the forest in the South-Est of chernarus, when we found a tent with a AS50 TWS in it, with many ammo, and other stuff that are legal.

Today i tried to reconnect to FR 39, and i got banned for reason "AS50 TWS?".

You shouldnt pick up hacked weapon , if he ban you probably because you had the as50 tws with you.

A server ban is up to the administrator. Some allow using the weapons you find, others ban when you use those hacked weapons.

Yes, however, they are not allowed to ban you for having the weapons, they have to prove you spawned them in to has reason to back up their ban, cause this would contain an abuse of power if they can ban for people having weapons they do not like, wether legal or illegal.

Indeed I banned you.

I started to kick (giving the reason in the message) people using this weapon (that is NOT in DayZ), then banning for a week. Now I have no other choice than permabaning them.

No choice, we have been plagued with cheaters (teleport, detection ...) and with this illegal weapon. I had to take measures to ensure gameplay (no admin abuse as I don't get anything from it).

I'm sorry for the one who came by chance on a tent.

But I warned people in the welcome message and I regularly warn people throu BE messages.

Some come on our forum or TS3 server to explain if it was just an "honest mistake". Then I remove the ban, noprob.

You report it here, no problem also, I'm glad to remove the ban (give me a few minutes) if you get rid of the weapon.

Really, you are welcome on our forum, TS3, and DayZ server ... but not with AS50 TWS ;)

Thanks you very much, i (we) thought it was the server admin who place thus weapon in the tent ^^.

If you don't know where it is, i can show you, in order to destroy it (i know it's still exist, a friend took a Guillie suit a few hour ago).

Really, because when it comes to banning on MY server, I decide who gets banned. I don't see anything of the DayZ checking my endless fucking log files and helping out.

Since about 4 weeks, we're running around on this server, with my gamers community. We were making a lot of strike operations on the towns and camps around.

I was personnaly banned (reason "you've been already warned") for killing the admins (and their team "Force27"), getting their stuff (when they don't reboot the server as soon as we were shooting on one of them), looting their tents, stealing their vehicules from their camps, etc.

And one of my teammate was banned for reason "Friend with [my name]"

I'm fed up with you people complaining for getting kicked / banned and trying to explain that you are the perfect player, and the admin are the bad guys abusing their "power".

You have been banned indeed, for using AS50 TWS. Not for kiling our team or friends or "getting our stuff" >:(

You had been warned, because at first I just kicked or banned for a week.

Later, seeing that it had no effect because some did it again, I decided to permaban everyone using AS50 TWS (+G36 +MakarovSD +BAF_LRR +M4SD_M203_HWS_Camo +PDW_SD +others I don't remember).

Among them was some nice people from your "gamers community", some using cheats like teleport or zombie shield. Some even came to our forum bragging "it's not even a Beta, so yes I spawn the stuff I need" and threatening to come back to our server, bypassing protections.

So yes, you are not welcome on our server.

I am proud to see that our server is important enough for you to subscribe to this forum to post you first (and only?) post :P

Others who have been banned for using such weapons, like Arkandias, had a good attitude.

They are back on our server.
