Reset Request + wrong version question

I was in a server where a hacker teleported everyone to mid-air about 50 feet up. I managed to disconnect before hitting the ground (yay) but when i rejoined another server I was killed before my game even loaded. After trying to respawn 3 more times (and getting killed before loading again) I finally spawned in the debug plains. Could I have a character reset please. My character Name is 'Waylander' and my ID is '48403590'.

I have also experienced some difficulties with joining some servers. I get the 'incorrect version' server message even though my game is the appropriate version according to day Z commander. I have also manually downloaded the Arma 2 patch (96061) which is the one which the server says it is running. The problem though is that some servers with that patch will allow me to join while others will not. I often play with a friend and his version is the same and he does NOT get kicked by the servers that kick me for version mismatch. Any suggestions short of re-installing Arma 2 as I really do not want to have to redownload the files. (I have validated the files to no avail)

I have been having the connection problems too, every server I try to join has said 'Bad version, rejected connection' although I'm certain everything is up to date. I don't know if some servers have backdated possibly to try and stop the graphical glitches, although they don't say it. I have just reinstalled Windows while trying to fix the recurring 'Yellow chain -> Red chain' kick problem I have been getting a couple of minutes into every game I join. TBH right now I am just about finished with all the shit DayZ has given me. Also Battleye has caused me to lose my best life yet. What would really be nice sometimes is if Rocket would actually give us an UPDATE or something as to what is going on... I have moved on to other games now. Hopefully I'll be back by Standalone, or if these things are fixed sooner.

Eh don't apologise I know the feeling. I personally will still play even though there are game breaking bugs mostly because I enjoy the environment and the team-play with some friends I play with regularly. And I'm actually fairly willing to forgive most things.

The scripters/hackers/whatever are annoying and I personally wish that most of them got a swift kick in the crotch but I can deal with being killed. The thing you need to do in this game is be willing to not get attached to your equipment.

Besides Alpha Mod is in Alpha. Once we hit standalone the world will be a much happier place.
