iFaymous 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Just got banned while playing DayZ for the first time... I was reading people were saying something about waves of bans or something like that and people buying the game multiple times to play the game. Seem like I won't be playing DayZ anymore because of Battleye. Waste of my $25. Nice Job Guys!
vandrel 36 Posted August 27, 2012 Head over to the BattleEye website and ping the support contact. Chances are you'll get fixed up in no time so long as there's no malicious entries detected.
iFaymous 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Yeh I sent one in earlier today but was looking around a bit to see if this is a problem for other people as well. Kinda sucks though that you buy a game and the anti cheat detector is messed up and making it unable for members to play a game... Oh well I guess... If they make me buy the game again, I will probably stay away from this game. Very bad experiences from it so far.
vandrel 36 Posted August 27, 2012 (edited) BattleEye does have hickups every now and then so it's not entirely impossible that you were banned in error. They collect a lot of data on their end for this sort of stuff and will surely be able to decrypt any sort of wrong doing or mistake that may have happened. The only thing is it could take days for a response and in most cases you may never get a response. It's not the best support system but they will for sure get your message. When/how they respond is the only question. Edited August 27, 2012 by Vandrel
