lag spikes, including screen freezes, slow gameplay.

Hi i started playing Dayz a while back and i could play just fine the first hour or two.

after that things started to get messy.

im unable to play thanks to incredible slow gameplay (when i spawn it takes up to 5 seconds untill the location i am in is revealed in the bottem right corner.)

when i try to move it moves slow, to slow to be able to play, i have some good servers/moments when i can play fine, but even then i have a bit of lag end frequent screen freezes of about 1 to 2 seconds, making firefights impossible.

it runs smooth in the main menu, no problem at hand, its just when i try to join a server.

90% of the time the game is unplayable, and i keep witching servers untill the game runs somewhat smooth, which is frustrating cause it takes me 30-45 min only to find a server i can decently play at.

i really need some help cause i love the game, but im thinking about quitting because it is so unplayable.

It sounds like it's an issue with your connection, do you look for servers with low ping?

i have a good internet connection, have not encountered any problems, yes i look for servers with low ping, and my ping on every server is about 16-32.

i have tried turning off antialiasing and post proccesing, also i turned all my settings back to high.

the game is running smooth now, but im afraid it will be only for a while, ill post the resulst.

Sorry for resurrect this topic but I think it´s better than create another one.

I´m having this same problems sometimes, but instead of lag, only my sound starts to spike when I look to the right or to the left and it´s only at DayZ, my ARMA II with ACE mod are running perfect. Does any one here have any kind of advice to fix this problem?

My specs are:

i5 2500k @ 4.10ghz

Intel DZ68ZV

Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3X

8gb RAM

Usb headset Turtlle Beach Bravo.

Same, This one sever that like 31 ping and when I enter it. It have slow gameplay like frame lag and screen lag but in other sever with the same amount of people and ping it doesn't lag for me.
