Becoming a bandit

Recommended Posts

Hello everyon, i've been playing the game for about a week now. Know the mechanics, where to get you items, weapons ect, the basics. But i have mainly been playing on empty servers to get knowledge of my surroundings. Although now i would like to play like a bandit, but have a certain "fear" of joining populated servers, since i have no real knowledge on what place are best to check out, what to do (killing players yes but what to look for) ect. If anyone has any links outside of the forum or inside of it, or wants to just give out some pointers. Also main reason for wanting to become a bandit is i think it brings more to the game than just "surviving" from the zombies and going north.

Try a populated server and if you get killed learn from your mistakes it takes time as for places cherno and electro are high populated places and are filled with snipers and new players. Its also dicouraged to kill new players, other places I would head to would be nw and ne airfield and stary sobor

implant this thought into your head: im being watched.

think that you are being watched ALL the time, everywhere everytime.

raising your level of awarness is key, as it allows you to spot snipers and players alike.

look around you as much as you can with the ALT key, always move crouched.

use the treeline, NEVER cross a open field, be paranoid ;)

if it takes longer to walk with the treeline instead of crossing the field, just follow the treeline, security is more important then time.

scout the treeline around the towns, make sure there are no snipers there.

if you are going to loot, scan the area (360) and get in and get out, do not waste any time.

those are my only tips i can give you.
