Why do I keep going back to the coast?

Recommended Posts

About every other time I spawn I start back at the coast, it's getting very frustrating. Anyone know why?

Because you ctrl+alt+del / kill the ArmA2 client while stuck on "Loading". When stuck on "Loading" you're technically on debug island, and when you join a working server, you'll be moved to a normal spawn point to not be stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah.... I had to kill the process the other day while I was stuck on loading and ended up on debug island, i quit and rejoined and ended up in elektro... better there then debug land or "dead" which happened a few times. Best bet is to pick higher pop servers to avoid that.

This is correct. Open up another instance of the game and join another server, then when you've spawned in, close the other game that is stuck at loading.

Use dayz commander and update to the latest patch it should sort it out

This won't do anything. It does it on both 1.7.2.4 and 1.7.2.5

Thanks, I'll try that! I get stuck at loading a lot, so that makes sense.
