Making a base, how stable can it be?

Lets say I want to make some base of operation on some server, have a tent and 2 vehicles, how stable can it be server side, will i just log in and loose every gun i keep in tent? will vehicles despawn?

Things are always getting lost in tents/vehicles. I've made bases with tents, vehicles, rare weapons, etc. Every time I came back to check on my stuff either the tent was empty and the vehicle was gone, or the tent was empty but the vehicle still had things in it.

It seems like it's dumb luck whether or not your stuff saves. It's fine until a server restart, but after that you just can't trust it.

I will assume my tent is in save position, what happens after server restart?

I considered that possibility, but since a friend and I were the only two people on the server when we stashed the stuff, and it was in a very remote location... it just doesn't seem possible that someone discovered it through legitimate means.

My experience is that when you drop a tent and put stuff in it, then save it...after a server restart that stuff is now always going to be there, every reset and you won't be able to change its contents in a way that will save. So basically you can drop a tent, put a bunch of stuff there and that is all that tent will ever hold.

will it happen same with vehicles?

It used to be, apparently, that the first reset after a saved tent would clear out anything put in it (if you put anything in it) so it was recommended to drop in a empty can or the like until the server reset... Then start storing actual stuff.

Last patch evidently broked how stuff is saved on the hive, so... Get situated, but don't expect tents to work correctly.

Vehicles, I think they're just straight weird and kind of a crapshoot. Been hearing different opinions ("Saved vehicles always go back to original spawn points on server reset!" "Vehicle saving worrrrrks!") but I wouldn't get attached to any vehicles. Not that you should anyway, but, yeah.

so as of yet, there is no reliable way to store your equipment? cause I have Dmr, AK, Bizon, m4a1cco don't want to give up any of them, and ofc ammo for all of them, also i managed to bring bike and repaired atv would not like to loose anything

Vehicles I wouldn't count on being there next reset, but the stuff in your tent on it's first save should be there, but you can't put anything else in after that and expect it to stay. If you've already saved your tent I would try to find a new one and stash your stuff in that and save it.

If you use a "remote" location your tent and or vehicles will likely get robbed as the remote locations are obvious/well known.

Longest lasting untouched tent I had was under a bridge outside a town.
