Rocket has plans for infected stages, younger being faster, older getting slower. Overall toughness improvement would be nice, they should be scary, not like giant annoying flies.

indeed, i like the idea of weaker/stronger zombies. As long as I can use my hatchet outside without just swinging it randomly becouse of the wierd hitbox. That might be a bit offtopic though.
