audio but no video

It started earlier today. I logged in and played for about 15 min when it looked like the game shut down, i just saw the desktop but no mouse. then i realized i could still here the game and using wasd could hear myself move around. so logged out then back in and it was fine. 5 minutes later it happened again. so i logged again. about a minute after start up it happened again. now its happening before i even get into the game. any ideas whats going on?

No. It's a amd 7950

Whits driver you use , i have found alot off info about ATI AMD video card that have driver problems.

After many reading on web sites, i can only say that AMD ATI have driver problems.

Alot off users recommend to use a older version but you have a new type so i dont know whits version you need (drivers)

I see now olso a new version as well 12.8 , i say try it i hope it will work for u.
