LaurenDanger 100 Posted June 11, 2012 I was going to give up on this game, but after posting here, some people gave me great advice. After some time to come to terms with the fact that people are annoying, especially new spawn killers who want Makarov mags and beans, I gave it another try.A few attemptsat escaping the spawn campers and I made it. I've had two good runs, one where zombies left me bleeding to death, and another where someone shot me after I single handedly wiped out eleven zombies with only a tiny scratch. Lame excuse? "I was low on ammo" which was a lie, I just cleared the way to a barn which would have been full of goodies. People still suck, are still trying to be bullies in a game to fix their real life woes, but hey, I killed 118 zombies and never once shot a player in that last run. I'd call that managing to bounce back from a string of five minute sessions where players kept killing me.Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to keep going and provided tips. Our conversation may be deleted with the roll back of the forums, but I remember it.

Our conversation may be deleted with the roll back of the forums, but I remember it.[/quote']Dear Lauren,I have a complete load-out of ammunition and basic necessities for survival. I have at this point only slain 8 zombies. My first two lives were lost to shock and a hacker. My third life is still going strong. I learned that you need to only use bullets as a means to live when absolutely necessary. The sound of gun-fire will attract the horde as well as nearby players.I'm glad you chose to stay.I hope my lesson helps you as well.It is possible that a minority of the banditry is committed by parties who have real life woes. That isn't the true reason people are committing so many acts of unjust murder. They do it out of fear. Fear is a very powerful motivator. You can lose everything, and you just don't know what kind of person the other player is.As I previously stated though, I attempt to avoid all contact with zombies AND players.Signed,Red PandaPS: If you ever need a friend I will be there =D. I run like mad! But I have an affinity for luring zombies into a barn and using up the ammo from my old weapon before picking up the new one. It gets crazy sometimes. Amazing how I can fight off fifty zombies (I wish that were an exaggeration) in ten minutes and have an unseen player shoot me at some random time.like Red Panda said you should sneak and prone around cities and if your spotted shoot. Nice job killing 118 zombies though lol. When you're stuck with an Enfield and have, oh, about 80 rds for it, you find the fun in luring zombies into buildings to die. Shoot one and they think the dinner bell rang. Then they all have to be put down. Kind of terrifying, but thanks for the compliment. Wll try to be a bit more stealthy, more prone and less crouch, maybe.

I think there is a bug regarding the sound the 1886 makes though. I can shoot a zombie in the middle of a city while using it; and no more will come. I'm not sure why.I understand why you would lure zombies into a barn and shoot them for fun. They sometimes have food or soda that you could use on your trip!I think military zombies can carry magazines and what-not as well. You don't necessarily have to go all gung-ho stealth. It just helps with survivability.I'm glad your having fun.Stay healthy and sane in your adventures! As I said before...let me know if you ever need anything. With Regards,Red Panda
