Bad serial given at setup! Help!

So I just bought the game a few days ago i've been playing with my friends and when I turned open my six launcher today and tried to join today it said

Bad serial given at setup.

I tried running Steam as Administrator

and I restarted my computer multiple times.

I need help please!

I also, tried to join many many servers :*( help me!

Possibly reinstall six launcher. I suggest Dayz Commander. It is much better. Try launching Dayz with Dayz Commander first.

trying DayZ Commander So complicated o.0 im so lost give me a min ill figure it out then ill get back to on whats up

You have to launch ArmA 2 : Combined Operations at least once before you try to launch DayZ. Otherwise Steam won't have your Serial registered.

Just click on Operation Arrowhead, start Combined Operations and after that you should be set =)

Weird now opening My Arma 2 OA at all Says Bad Serial?

Maybe i should uninstall and reinstall?

Have u tried running vanilla Arma 2 by itself, then OA afterwards?

If not then try starting steam as admin then verifying integrity of cache for both games.

Chip Arma 2 Normal works fine then when i try to open Arma 2 OA It Crashes and bad Serial
