If a suspected hacker is holding you hostage...

and you basically have nothing, what do you do?

Spawned in Elektro pier, was looting industrial buildings for a hatchet and what not, and a guy with a custom skin appears in front of me. Also had voice modulation to sound like the devil or something, meh. Anyways, it seems he was afraid of me rushing him (had a hatchet at this point) but he said to lie down on the floor and if I ran he was going to shoot me anyways. I didn't have much so I decided to play with him.

I slowly back away and then dart around the corner, make it a good distance until I instantly go down to 3k blood, bleeding, and a broken leg, without a single gunshot. He then just appears in front of me again, feeling he made is point, so I decide to swing at him a couple times. Get him to bleed and then insta-die myself. Had a fun time, didn't care for that life much anyways due to the bad spawn location.

So, can I assume this guy was a hacker, or at least a script kiddie? Also, what would you do this situation? Run? alt+f4? Play his game and see what happens?

I got held hostage by a hacker before. My suggestion is, and this is only because it's a hacker, if you're 100% sure that it is a hacker holding you hostage, abort. In my opinion, that is the only time to have a legitimate excuse to abort. He's cheating and it's not fair for you to die because of his cheating.

If you literally have nothing to lose, then you figuratively have nothing to lose, too. I say do something like you did. Mess with him right back. You'll just respawn fresh again anyway. You can always find a different server then. Take some whacks at them. Run to them instead of away. If they talk with a voice changer and claim to be some kind of demon or something, you talk in a high pitch and claim to be Tinkerbell's cousin Jimmy. They will probably lose interest anyway.

I think he was saying "abort" in reference to Alt+F4 and not in reference to logging out by going to the menu and clicking "Abort" because you're going to bed or something normal.

I have had this broken leg hack done to me and been held up by a guy with full kit, they must so good killing a man with an axe, bet they jizz every time lol.

Just abort out, it makes their gameplay less fun by doing so. Playing along only encourages them. If you must, just smack em once or twice them abort on em.
