How much can you build? (and should it be explored more in the standalone?)

Hey guys, i haven't got DayZ yet but will be soon, so, yet again, i have a few questions for you guys (as denoted by the title)

1. How much of a base can you build? I heard that you can have tents and so on, and sandbags, but any more?

2. Would you want this explored in the standalone? such as ;

wood -> Houses

Metal found in construction sites into bunkers.

Bipod + Machine gun or assault rifle -> Mounted MG.

or even more stuff? (add your own if you want :)

U can build Tents obviously, also u can place wire fencing, tank traps and sandbags (although you need an entrenching tool).

Rocket has said in interviews that he wants to add more base options, specifically underground bases where they can be upgraded, he goes on about 'Red Faction Style'.

Could you explain how a tank trap works , if there are no tanks?

in the standalone, we are *promised* to be able to dig in the ground like in a minecraft sorta thing

current dayz, however, is pretty limited inregard to what and how much u can build

put a tent here or there, maybe barb wire around it, sandbag in a random place (cuz that random place is the only place that ure allowed by the game to put a sandbag at), and maybe blocks ways in and out with a vehicle without any fuel.. meh not really much

Bear traps and those tank things . What they do?

Bear traps breaks people's legs, and tank trap is just a large metal object that can block things.
