im reformatting PC, got a few questions regarding my cdkey for arma2/dayz mod

i bought my copy of arma 2 CO off of gamersgate, when they gave me my cdkey, i tried it on steam and it didnt work. when i installed the game with the cdkey it worked fine. ive been playing day z mod ever since, now i plan to reformat my PC and redownload arma2. will i need a new cd key because my current one is already registered and in use? if so, i will not reformat my PC.

No the CD key should work a set number of times you should be fine to reinstall the game after the format.

will be fine just make sure you dont try and save the files to save yourself the hassle of the reinstall, just do the standard reinstall put the key in and all will be fine :)
