Ingame Graphic Glitch

Hey,

I've been noticing lately that when I go to certain parts of the World, big dark lines come from that area and limit my view.

WTF is this?

Not trying to be a cunt but the search function is there for a reason. They are called artifacts.

That sir is a graphical bug caused by some items in the game most recently dead soilders some tank traps and barbed wire fences.

You have few options to resolve it in game.

You can try changing your video memory to high and then down to default. This resolves it until the game has to redraw those graphics again such as when you go out of range and come back to the place where you saw it before.

You can hit escape and hold shift then tap the - key on the numpad and type flush this will cause your screen to go black and give you the message receiving you may need to do this 2 or 3 times to fully flush the graphic memory and resolve the issue.

You can restart the game exit it fully right out to windows.

Finally some people say disabling threaded optimization in your graphics cards main control panel will resolve the issue.

Hopfully one of theses will suit you and hopfully the issue will be resolve in future patches. :)

I remember the first time I've seen them I nearly shit myself thinking my GFX card just fried.

At the moment the only real fix is this:

Stop playing and wait for a patch.

I changed the video memory and that didn't seem to help, and when you say type "flush", how do i get that menu up? dOESNT COME UP FOR ME. caps*

Well iv been struggling with this for sometime now! it wasn't like this in the beginning, played Chernarus for like 1,5 year's then it became like this,

It comes after playing 5 - 10 min, but when i spawn in in the city's El and Ch it's oki, doesn't bug up. it's when i move up north no longer then 2 - 3k meters from the city's.
