Will this prevent loss of all gear (except ghillie suit) and spawning at the beach again. When going in a random server. Getting shitty annoying.

It happens when you join a server with a different version than your own, which causes you to hang on the loading screen and your location data being lost in the process.

So no, make sure versions match and you shouldn't have problems.
