ngotie 33 Posted August 25, 2012 A DayZ movie showing some action in the North. If you would like to play with me and my squad this is what you need to do.Send me a message via YouTube with general info on who you are and your overall experience in DayZ. All I ask is that you must have a mic and able to chat on coms (Mumble). Also we play on European servers so if you're from the West coast of America or as far afield as Australia and New Zealand you might struggle with the lag. Just don't be a total green horn I don't want to have to come find you or spend the entire time explaining how the inventory system works. :PPrograms used; Sony Vegas, DxTory.Music; Neil Young's Hey Hey My My by Battleme. All comments welcome and thanks for watching.Previous DayZ Movies;www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKmuF8q_NYA

Dr Klunk 11 Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) Great to see people making movies... :)Your gameplay is not my cup of tea though, my idea of "action" is a little bit different than lying around sniping... especially at targets whom I have no idea who they are ;)... that sort of gameplay I can get in any other FPS of choice (Red Orchestra et al) but good luck to you all and thanx for the clip.tension.. action.. for me emerge from close up encounters....where one measure eachother up, trying to determine if the other one is a "good" guy...those few seconds of hesitation/determination...and INTERaction is what makes this game great for me... the other day I happened upon a fellow in a supermarket..beeing very cautious...communicating...really ony 1/1000 of second to pull the trigger..It all ended with him giving me a ride to Berezino from Cherno in his bus... having a great conversation.but again.. we all play this game for different reasonsso cheers Edited August 25, 2012 by da_klunk

We only shoot on sight around the Wild North between Stary and the NWAF, because at the end of the day when you're around there you just can’t take the chance. There has been numerous occasions were we have helped players out with spare range finders, night vision goggles and ghillie suits. I would love for those types of scenarios that you talked about to happen more often but it happens so rarely in DayZ because of what state the mod is in at the mo. Sadly it seems to only happen once in a blue moon. ^_^
