Has the hero skin changed your gameplay experience at all?

The Hero Skin has changed my gameplay immensely. Not only has the small damage resistance allowed me to thwart many a pissy pistoler's attacks the run speed is noticable and saves me time.

But as for the skin itself It helps out in groups as I tend to be the only hero in group of friends and recently i've found more people knowing what the hero skin is and not shooting on site. Oddly most of those people have been bandits. And I do not kill bandits on site. I help every person who request it.
