Player Profiles

I was just wonering if having multiple Player Profiles means that you can have multiple characters.

By this I mean, If I have a player profile called Jeff and I spawn on a server as Jeff, is it then possible to leave the server, switch the player profile, and connect as a different player? Does this mean I spawn in a different location as a different character?

ok, i need this kind of help too, me and my roommate share the same computer both at different times,we both have our steam id's and have each bought a copy of the game thru steam, but our backpacks in game have synced up and whenever one dies the others character starts over as well. How do we resolve this issue.?

Unfortunately I do not think you can work around this issue. There are specific barriers in place to prevent cheating. Try using different computers. If not maybe there is something the Dev(s) can do for you?

I am sure that because its all based on your CD-key that when you change your profile you'll still spawn as if using your original profile. Only thing that will change is your name, nothing else.
