Square Milk 0 Posted August 24, 2012 Hi guys. I am a somewhat seasoned DayZ player, except in the area of vehicles. I found an old bike and was derping around with my friend in the middle of a field I accidently started drifting off and started gliding along a player who was running in the opposite direction. I freaked out because I recently got a gillie suit and did not want to die, so I, without thinking, immediately signed off. I did not even get off the bike. The bike was stationary when I logged off. So my problem is, what is going to happen when I log back on? Will I just be in the same spot? Will I die if some took the bike and is going 30 down some road? Will it change if I go on to a different server from the one I was logged in to?Also a side note, whenever my friend joins a server, he instantly becomes passed out. Everything is fine (Blood, water, food etc...). He is passed out for about two minutes every time no matter what server he go's on. Haruto 10 Posted August 24, 2012 As far as the bike goes you will log back in next to the bike unless someone else has taken it. As for your friend no idea, only thing I can thnk of is maybe hes sick? But I don't think that causes you to just pass out... That does seem a mite odd. Never underestimate the old bike, going downhill it is the fastest thing you will ever find, plus it can't blow up, though it might send you flying and break your legs... So far worst I got from getting knocked off is a sprain, though my buddy broke his legs when we hit a small wall hidden in some bushes on a proper motorcycle. Ped 80 Posted August 24, 2012 When you log back in, you will be standing where you logged out.Chances are very good the bike will be gone...someone will have taken it.You don't login on a vehicle so there's no threat to you at all.Also, you cannot take vehicles to other servers.Your friend is experiencing part of the anti-server hoping code. If you log out and in fairly often from a server you're stuck with an unconscious timer. But it's fairly long, like 4 or 5 minutes?Sometimes it happens even when you don't logout and in rapidly.
