NON Steam issue

hi all,

d/led the operations pack from gamersgate

dled the laucher

dled all required files from website

unrarred all to the following location (this is where both games are installed OA does not have a separate dir)

C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\@dayz\Addons

load game and get the following error (see attached)

have re-dled the files but still the mod is not available

any pointers ?

i think the reason its not working is that there is no separate OA folder

both games are in the same folder

try putting @dayz folder in the arma 2 OA folder. I think thats were you've gone wrong.

Just got the game today (shelf copy- non digital). I'm running into this same issue as bingza,

Same Error message:

No entry

'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Soldier_Crew_PMC.scope'

The disc installation doesn't install a seperate OA folder, my directory structure appears exactly like bingza's image. So there's no arma 2 OA folder to copy to.

Any thoughts?

edit: Solved my problem, the Gamersgate version of OA was only at 1.54 so I updated to 1.60.

guys got this working.

reason it wouldn't work is because the retail/non-steam version is not updated to the latest version e.g arma OA 1.60 & arma 1.11

704mb this contains the updates for both games run it then open the launcher and it will work

Thanks bingza! I dl'ed the 1.60 patch for OA, and now I can at least get the game to run.

Now trying to figure out why it won't connect to servers...
