Need help with sound (VERY dampened)

Hello fella's,

Ok, so I'm having a problem with my sound being very very low. I don't exactly know when this started patch wise but its being going on for awhile now. I thought it was just certain servers that would have their sound turned down somehow. (I have no idea what all server admins can/cannot do, so don't yell at me for being stupid). I have no idea why my sound is so dampened, I have the music volume all the way down because that hammer hitting an anvil sound is beyond annoying. I have my effects turned all the up, and VON is about half way. I've reset to default a few times now and nothing has changed.

If it matters at all I wear turtle beach x11's and I have to turn them all the way up to be able to hear like I use to. Before i noticed my sound being dampened, I played at maybe 1/4 volume on my turtle beach's and heard just fine.

I've also checked all my computer sound levels all of them are maxed.

I also use mumble to talk to friends when I'm playing and I know it has that built in dampen when someone talks but my sound is dampened even when I'm not in mumble and playing DayZ.

So my question is, Does anyone know what has caused this or a way to fix it?

It would be much appreciated because this is highly annoying not being able to hear other peoples foot steps.

Would by any chance do you have low blood?

I always lose hearing when being beaten half to death. I did notice however that it sometimes goes back to normal after changing server.

I've also noticed my sound being almost non-existent if I had gotten up from being unconscious.

No this has been going on for almost a month now, I do know that when you're low blood your hearing is affected BUT I've died many times since this started happening and have been on quite a few different servers. Is it possible that I'm just permanently glitched into the low-blood hearing syndrome lol?
