I know we can use matches.... but as this game strives to be as realistic as possible or seems to. Why not make it so we can start a fire with a flare. You can do it in the real world.

Great mod and thanks for all the hard work.

Also if this has been covered then i appologize for bringing it up again.

I agree, but they would have to make flares way less prevalent. It would make finding matches obsolete. I like that you have to gather the right materials, but yeah, matches are sometimes a bitch to find.

Should be able to fill cans with fuel and create large fires to burn down houses, create fire traps etc.

Imagine baiting someone with an axe and just standing there with a smug look as you drop a flare into a pool of fuel where the chaser is.
