Few servers / i cant connect to any

Well, I have been playing since around thursday i think. I downloaded the game and updates from the worrom website and used that tool to download and install everything. I have been playing fine, some server would work other would not, but suddenly it seems like a lot of servers have been disappeering from my list (maybe they are just not online at the times i connect), but not only that. The servers i do see online i cant connect to because it says i dont have a recent enough version of the game. On the game screen it says i have version 1.6.0 while the servers i wanna join have 1.6.1.xxxx. I ahve downloaded (as far as i know) version 1.7 from the tool and installed it with the tool, and checked on the official website to see if i actually had all the files they had, and i do, and they are all in my dayz folder in my computer... so what am i missing?
