sydrek 0 Posted June 10, 2012 Hello,Ive been playing DayZ for a couple of days now, granted i am also a total Arma 2 noob since i bought it for the mod....Anyway, earlier today about one to maximum two houres ago i finally managed to get on a server again.Needless to say there were barely any zombies spawned and almost zero to no loot according to evryone else playing at that time.I assume that it's because it's peaktime and the database has to send the info to the servers ? no idea.So i decided to just hangout and watch the sunset until the server hopefully catches up and start spawning stuff.I'm standing there looking around and at the sky while chatting when all the sudden 29+ (lost count, but pretty much almost evryone on the server) get's killed.I was fyi at 12k blood all my stats green, full inv (ak, m1911, finally had a tent and plenty of meds/food ect)...According to chat evryone just dropped dead like flies.This was on the server UK6 btw.So like the title say's, i'm wondering what happend ? Is it a hacker that somehow shot evryone from any range trough anything (or something similar), was it the server (maybe admin that wanted to test something?) or was due to the database (devs reseting evrything) ?It would be interesting to know because i can live with this being 'alpha' and breaking(->die'ing from) bones coz the door slammed trough my body, or that i clipped trough a object or a zombie glitching trough a wall at full speed ect ...But loosing all my 'progress' simply because i was online is ... dissapointing to say the least. clever 12 Posted June 10, 2012 It's a common ArmA hack, everyone in the server gets killed. ArmA's anti-cheat is extremely bad, and it's very easy to bypass the anti-cheat. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There is so many more ways outside of being legitimately killed, or killed by zombies. Ever since this mod picked up big attention it has brought in so many hackers. Alfie (DayZ) 8 Posted June 12, 2012 Admin from UK6 here. Sorry to hear that happened. A few of our community guys have died to hackers doing this now. It is frustrating. Hopefully it doesn't put you off the mod, or our servers. Keep in mind, if you are on our servers and notice low zombie counts, or absolutely no loot then feel free to post on our forums.
