Hacker by the Name of Tomlol on UK 22 (SAS Clan Server)

So yeah, I was happily checking Cherno for stuff at the dock only to be sniped by an Anti-material rifle and die. I was quite heavily geared at this point (NVG, DMR, GPS, large Coyote backpack, etc). So I respawned at Prigorodky luckily knowing that Cherno is just to my right I ran straight in, went through the middle of Cherno to avoid the sniper and then went into a pub grabbed a Lee Enfield went to the docks just where that building with open front windowed doors is (that have inner doors that are connected to the building which can't be opened). Then I proned slowly onto the tarmac of the dock only to see someone running down the coast from Prigorodky on my left. Then I look to my front, only to see the sniper standing there at the end of the dock. He looks straight at the guy from Prigorodky. I steadied my aim and shot him in the head. Ran up to his body only to find that he had an AS50-AWS. Thermal. Knowing my DayZ knowledge I know this isn't in DayZ and its been hacked in. I picked up the gun just to confirm that it is. I moved further back only to see that he had put up my tent behind the large oil drums on the dock. Weirdly enough, the only thing the hacker took from my body was my tent and nothing else. I then disposed of the gun. After killing him I went into Cherno only to see Battleye kick him for Restricted scripting.

Should try searching the forums for the many other threads on this, using that weapon does not mean he is a hacker. Means he is could either be a vet player and obtained the gun a while ago, picked it up out of a tent somewhere or picked it up off someone else corpse. As it has been officially stated on the forums you cannot go by the wiki as to what items are actually in the game, some items are added and some removed without any notification and since the wiki is maintained by players and not devs they lack the correct information as to what is actually in the game.

I'll go through the logs on my morning rounds and see what comes up. If he's being naughty he'll end up on the ban list and ill update you here with a link to it. Thanks for letting us know.

I knew someone would posted about this but the fact is it's not supposed to be in the game, full stop. That scope isn't even made for that gun, you can even tell by the weapon paint and scope. The weapon itself has been modified. Unfortunately the wiki and player information is all we have on DayZ. The wiki and player info isn't 100% accurate but there isn't anything else. I also can't see this "officially stated" comment anywhere and if forum admins did say that, where is there "official list" of weapons? Anyway, If they get caught with this weapon then they can get banned. It's like passing around a ticking time bomb, admins need to ban people with these weapons otherwise OTHERS WILL THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. So if you or someone else finds this weapon they should destroy it or get rid of it. Were supposed to get rid of these weapons. Not justify it.

On topic now, It still doesn't make sense how this person wouldn't of taken my high tier stuff compared to what he had when I died and how he got booted off from Battleye from scripting. <_<

Rocket himself said that if you find hacked in weapons on other players corpses then you can use them. I've found a thermal AS50 before and me and my friend found another last night. Does not mean that he is cheating.
