Battleye Initialization failed, Bad version disconnected by server.

Hello, everybody!

My name is rollonton and i have a problem with my DayZ! The problem is, when ever i try to connect to a server it says Battleye Initialization failed, or Bad version disconnected by server! I got arma 2 today so i have no idea what to do! Plzz help me, cuz it is my dream to play DayZ!! So ill be very happy if you could help me with my problem! :)

Go to battleye web page and download the update manually.

If you download dayz commander just press versions in the top right and youll know everything else you need is up to date.

For your information, DayZ Commander doesn't update BattlEye. BE mostly self-updates but seems to glitch sometimes, thus forcing you to download manually.

When you log in at first in the server lobby does it say that battle eye is out of date and that it is trying to update into the new version? If it says that and it doesn't update automatically go to this site --------> http://www.battleye.com/download.html Download those 2 v1.62 files Client and server.

Then go into your Arma 2 OA battle eye file (if you bought Day Z from steam it should be in program files (x86) ----> steam ---> steam apps -----> common ------> Arma 2 OA -------> expansion -----> battle eye) and replace both the client and the server with the new version.

Now start the game up, it should be updated to the new client version. If it doesn't update or fix re-do the above steps (downloading and replacing). However, before starting up Day Z and after replacing the files set the CLIENT file to read only in properties.

That should fix the problem IF you have had the same problem that I had.
