I have already died several times, and when a player spawns in the debug zone he does not get hungry nor does he get thirsty. Actually I just run an hour, made it to the map, let's just see if it's worth my while...

Just reporting back - no success. I got on the map, but the server restarted or somehow crashed, anyway - once I got back in the game I was yet again in the debug zone.

Some helpful developer: would you mind reseting my character? There's something really wrong....

Gonna go around every thread, dont mean to be an utter dick but the devs seriously dont care. I have spent over a week on this forum and never seen a dev answer any questions or put up information posts about any of the major bugs, what they are currently working on and how to get around things. I am sure people have spent longer than me on these forums and seen plenty of dev posts but I have never, been on plenty of other game/mod forums that have a very small dev team and they are more active and helpful that this shitfest.

I have read every thread about the same problem and the only "fix" I could find was a very far-fetched one involving a ghillie suit which my friend does not have.

Plus, it's completely free to post here, I have nothing to lose. I know the devs aren't too active here, but at least in theory there's a bigger chance for me to redeem my character than just forget it. I'm looking forward to the next patch if it fixes anything.

Try spawning as a female, it might help. I have a similar problem, when I spawn as a male I get stuck in the debug plains, however unable to even move and dieing or relogging just puts me back there again. But only as a male, as a a female I can play just fine.

Thanks for your input, but after death via Respawn button I still spawn on my male character with camo clothing, this is why I cannot create a new character.

Argh, I'll post it again for the umpteenth time:

1. Hit ESC when "Setup Complete" appears; leave the menu up.

2. Wait to fully spawn in game.

3. Hit Respawn as it's usable because of a weird bypass created when bringing up the menu from earlier.

This can be used to keep respawning yourself until you're where you're more comfortable.

Thanks for advice! I just got a fix from http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/81540-fixed-stuck-on-debug-plain-reset-requests/ and it was as simple as connecting to DE 287!
