Lost backpack and items

I was at US 10, southern barracks, and I saw a body. I proceeded to loot him. In my backpack, I had a M107, 2 morphines, 1 epi-pen and 6 raw meats (I'm not sure about the meats). It was an ALICE backpack. He had a coyote so I decided to first let my ALICE on his body so I could loot it after throwing the crap from the coyote away. As soon as I put my ALICE on his body, with all my items, his body disappears and my ALICE too.

Please, revert my charater to a previous place where he still had his items. All I could loot from him was a GPS... not worth losing all my items.

PS: The server just rebooted, can that be the cause?
