OA Beta Patch Not Noticed by Combined Operations

Recommended Posts

So the server I'm trying to join is using the 96015 build of Arma 2:OA and I'm having problems. So I try running from the Arma2:OA Beta Patch Launcher, and it says the version number is 96015. Great!

But when I join the server in question it says You can not play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cherarus. Okay, so I follow the instructions and run the game as Combined Operations instead of Operation Arrowhead.

However, CO does not carry over the version number from OA, and I can't join the server because of the two versions are different.

I'd really like to start playing, so any help would be incredible.

EDIT: I found a solution. You need to copy the files in "common/arma2/addons" to "common/arma 2 operation arrowhead/addons". That way you can run Operation Arrowhead on it's own while still being able to use the files in Arma 2.

Or go to common/arma 2 operation arrowhead/expansions/beta and copy OA.exe to

common/arma 2 operation arrowhead
