Does the flashlight attract zombies?

Does the flashlight attract zombies like flares do. Or does it not effect the capability of them to aggro from farther distances

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is they can see the SOURCE, but not the beam itself, or the light on whatever object/body it's projected to.

So, basically, the zombie can see WHERE you are with the flashlight.

Zombies cannot see the flashlight beam itself, but it is easily noticeable by other players at long range and so should be used with moderation.

So, no, you cannot aggro zeds simply from the flashlight.
