Okay, I have litteraly tried everything.

I bought Arma 2: Combined operations which comes with 2 discs, one for arma, one for OA.... I install it, then near the end of the installation it says "Installing pathc 1.06 and it installs it.... I have followed all instructions and no matter what I do I get some shit about pmc..... This doesn't need reinforcements does it?

Okay so, what exactly does dayz need to run? Right now I have Arma 2 and arma 2 OA installed and thats all, excluding patches like 1.6 and the beta patch...

No worry. You need only CO, then patch 1.62, after it you can install beta, than Dayz and you are free to go.

It's important to run as Combined Operations when playing dayz.

Ok, keep calm and explain in which particular point that pmc thing happen and then write what is it saying about pmc. Then we can move from there.

I'm guessing the reason you are getting the message about pmc is because the game uses some skins from the pmc addon, but pmc shouldnt be needed to run the game. It should only affect the quality of the skins so it shouldnt stop you from playing.

I had PMC when dayz came out so i dont know for sure how it effects the mod, but if you have followed the steps in the link i posted and still cant play, i have no idea what the problem is..

install patches(version 1.62)

install latest beta patch

install dayzmod

run combined operations with dayz

This is EXACTLY what I do.

1. Put in arma 2 disc, and install. It installs to C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

2. Put in OA disc, install it, then it begins to run a patch called 1_06?

3.Install dayz commander, have it update dayz and the games....

then when I run dayz I get all this shit about not having pmc files.

I guess that problem can be in applying lastest patches. It seems that you don't have pmc lite installed.

After you install OA, you must install 1.60 patch and then 1.62. Then everything should be fine.

Because 1.06 is not 1.60.

manually download and install 1.6 and 1.62

download and install dayz
