In light of the good experiences thread I thought i'd start one for your worst/scary ones.This one takes the cake for me so far...loosing good gear is lame but gear comes and it goes. PvP is so intense, escpeically when the odds are stacked against you. Victory is not an option...living by a whisker is the best you can hope for.I got teleported to the coast after loading for whatever reason. Was running along, enfield and some basic gear. In the distance i heard an engine brrrr. Wow this is cool first vehicle i'm going to see. Two people roll along on an ATV coming towards me. Ohh crap. I call friendly as they getcloser. I see the bandit garb, ohh crap. They get off. I lean back and forth and they don't shoot. We have a face off. I turn around...and bam..ohh well that’s okay, just crappy gear. I quit the server for a while.Later I return to the sever. I'm running along the coast. Within thirty seconds flies buzzing, dead body. Hmm fresh player. Take their stuff. Run along, more flies another dead body, more gear. Run along, another dead body but with an axe. Ohh crap someone is stalking the coast. I get down low and head for buildings wanting to get the hell out of there and into the bush. As I’m running towards town I hear an engine. Looking down the road, two bandits, the same ones are on the prowl. I run across railway tracks, crawl under a wall just as the ATV pulls up behind. Running I duck around the corner of a building, and back through it, the atv drawing closer. Armed with an axe I’m playing a game of cat and mouse with no way to fight back. I’m trying to desperately to go low and get into the woods. I see the tree line and make a break for it but pursuing z’s give my location, the engine rumbles closer. I hit the tree line and slam it up the hill. The atv purses to the bottom but can’t make it in. Distant rifle fire comes, slamming into tress I’m putting between the bandits and my body. I hit the crest of the hill. I’m heading north, armed only with an axe and into the coming dark…Such conflicting feelings. Excitement and dread ,terror and joy. The thrill of the chase and survival. HamTheBacon 76 Posted August 23, 2012 Few weeks ago i was looting NW, found a really nice M249 SAW in the baracks with half a belt in it, someone put it there for something else, i found out later it was an SVD Camo, because as i was leaving the ghillie with an SVD shot me in the leg broke it, i turned to him and before he shot again i unloaded the SAW into him and bandaged, looted his body, no morphine so broken leg and 8k blood i crawl to the other side but as i get there i get shot by a pistol, a noob with the starter bag and a pistol discovers me and kills me, what luck. ybm 111 Posted August 23, 2012 My hands down favorite experience is when I first got a cz550. I felt like some kind of badass being able to see other players at great distances and they had no clue I was even there. I joined a near full server to see if I could see anyone outside of prigrigori and low and behold, there was an off road truck parked outside of the city. I decided the owner was either in the town or on his way to get it when a black SUV rolled in and dropped a guy off to drive it to whereverville. My heart was pounding and I took the shot on the guy in the truck and I nailed him at least once. He jumped out of the truck bleeding from three holes into his body but he took cover behind a huge tree and I couldn't see him anymore and I could tell he didn't die because I was watching the lower half of my screen for it. I then scan the area around me and the SUV somehow was 20 meters behind me and made no noise whatsoever as it saw me and ran me over. I had a huge laugh about it and was enthralled about my first sniping experience albeit it lasted no more than two minutes. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think this was warranted because most other threads i searched were people whining about a bad experience due to game breaking bugs or mechanics they don't like. This is more to do with an experience that might not necessarily of been enjoyable but is part of a rich and diverse gaming experience.
