I get errors all the time...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I downloaded DayZ a few days ago and ever since I've been getting errors every 10 minutes. They are basic memory errors, I cleared all unnecessary process, dumbed it down to very low and still getting these errors. I am running windows 7 with bootcamp on a macbook pro, 4 gig ram. Is there anyway to contain memory leaks for DayZ. I tried upping my RAM paging also, and to no avail.

Thanks in advance for your help

What you wrote doesn't make much sense to me. What errors are you getting then?

ok,

"Your computer is low on memory

to restore enough memory for programs to work correctly, save your files and then close or restart all open programs."

That is one of the few I get. Others have hex values in the error message. Just really confused as to why 4gb isn't enough to run DayZ :<

I have no idea as to what kind of issue this is, but I am thinking that you perhaps have to manually allocate more memory for win 7 and Dayz somehow. Sry, can't help you with this, but perhaps others have a clue to what might be the issue here.

Here's another,

"Out of memory.

Your swap file is too small, only 8MB of free space left.

Increase your swap file size or delete some files from your hard disk"

I'm really confused as to what memory is running low? I thought it was virtual but this seems like HD memory. -_-

and the last one I usually get:

"Close programs to prevent information loss

your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close these programs:

ArmA 2 OA"
