phisher34 12 Posted June 10, 2012 I am noticing several posts about servers having the Loading, waiting for host, server mismatch errors.There are two servers from HFB hosting (Seattle 23, and 24) that are experiencing those issues. There is also the thread about Vilayer LTD having issues.I just purchased the server (Seattle 24) yesterday and it was running fine last night. Naming convention was normal. No special settings at all.Try to play this morning and everyone starts having these issues.EDIT: I am in the process of communicating with the hosting provider but can one of the DayZ dev's comment on this? phisher34 12 Posted June 10, 2012 Yea I figured from your post in the HFB thread that we are having the same issue.So far they are saying to contact the hosting provider - but idk what might have changed. Epsilon (DayZ) 10 Posted June 10, 2012 Yup my server is now only 12 hours old and really nothing was changed except we tried to enable third person view on a expert server but it wasn't working. Hopefully these issues aren't common as this has proven to be disappointing as is, not to mention the fact that the server is located in seattle when all my guys are east coast so several of them get 100-150+ ping but that can be tolerated, this however can't. phisher34 12 Posted June 10, 2012 Same deal.After the server issues this morning I tried modifying the difficulty. That is about the only thing similar we did. However, the problems were happening before then.I'm curious Epsilon, did you have vehicles spawn in your server?I put in a ticket last night because we scoured our server yesterday and never found any vehicles. There are about 5 locations where we know vehicles spawn (We can hop on any fresh server and always see the same vehicle at the same spot)I put in a ticket but they said vehicles were definitely spawning according to the server RPT. tansien 15 Posted June 10, 2012 Some rotten eggs using Vilayer, and unwillingness from his side to properly police his clients have led to whitelist removal of several IPs.Now, YOUR server may not have broken any rules, but is rather collateral damage. r5355k@hotmail.com 0 Posted June 10, 2012 Hopefully gets resolved soon, I just had my server setup Friday so thought maybe odd chance my files could actually be out of date but after reading a few threads seems a lot of people are experiencing exactly what my server is. Huey (DayZ) 87 Posted June 10, 2012 I rented a server today (vilayer), it worked fine for 2-3 hours but now people receive the message "Server side version is incorrect..".Any idea what i can do?Btw first e-mail i received from Vilayer today was a warning to all those who do not follow the rules set by DAYZ team.
