Never believed in Global Bans for nothing but since I know I don't hack and just got global banned (minutes after BE updated to 1.169) I do now!They better unban me, or I'm screwed. Next time refrain.I think the issue was taken with the selection of the word unlawful, I doubt there is any legislation in place restricting battle eye or court decisions in anyone's favour. It was most likely just a case of semantics.I'm sure battle eye will fix the false positives and get on top of the hacking eventually. ARMA is a very trusting engine and obviously there's going to be exploitation.Maybe a day off the computer might work in your favour :)Keep in mind there will also be script kiddies that got caught in the net too, so don't immediately jump on sides. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Garam 0 Posted August 23, 2012 Same for my friend, he got banned 2 / 3 days ago, never scripted / hacked, he doesnt even know how to, when you bought Arma 2 only for DayZ and you receive that message damn, hackers are a huge problem on DayZ, but banning clean clients, I have never seen that on 30 video games played... Secondly; I got unbanned very shortly after, along with multiple friends. BattleEye is garbage, you trolls can keep saying "Oh you got banned because you hacked!" until it happens to you as well. The squad I roll with goes around LOOKING for hackers to kill because its ruining DayZ. If you can't understand the frustration that follows when you get banned for no reason, well like I said before... you're ignorant. Although they did remove our bans, DayZ is still horribly infested with hacking morons and corrupt server admins.
